BNZ Closed for good!

The BNZ bank was closed today so the staff could get out into the community and help out. We were lucky enough to have 3 staff members from the Greymouth branch come and help us out in the garden. We planted blueberries, raspberries, plum trees, carrots, strawberries and citrus trees. We taught them a lot about gardening!
Kathy getting her wheelbarrow licence.
Kalia digging a hole for a blueberry plant.
Luke's an expert in planting strawberries!
Ben and Andrew from the BNZ had fun planting our citrus trees.
The boys and Rueben show Andrew how it's done.

Kathy helped us plant lots of strawberries. She said she learnt more about gardening in half an hour with us than she has ever learnt and is going to go home and plant some strawberry plants. We loved teaching her new things!
Katy and Gillian helping out!
The boys assured us they were "working"... Us girls just think they were talking about rugby!
Kyia planted lots of raspberries.
Miss Hines was pretty happy with our efforts!

Bryce and Daniel were the champions of fertilising our plants!

"WE HAD THE BEST DAY EVER!!"
Thanks for helping BNZ staff!
