Buddy Reading

For part of our Book Week celebrations we did some buddy reading with Room 8. It was really cool to hear some of our buddy's read some really challenging books! Thanks Room 8 for coming to visit!

  

Maori Language Week

For Maori Language Week we have worked with our buddy class to make Fortune Tellers. The questions are in Te Reo and so are the answers. We used a template to make our first one and then we made our own using our chrome books. 

Buddy Reading With Room 8

This week Room 8 came to Room 17 with their reading books. We created a Google Slide using the text from their reading books and then helped the Room 8 children create a Screencastify of them reading. Here is a perfect example from Cal and Jake.

Buddy Sharing with Room 8

Today Room 8 came to Room 17 and shared their learning about onomatopoeia's. Using our digital tools we helped them create a Google Drawing which showed their onomatopoeia. Click on the names below to have a look at some of our finished products!

Buddy Classes

On Friday, Room's 17 and 8 teamed up to share what we have been learning and doing in class. Room 17 really enjoyed showing the children in Room 8 how to use the Chrome books and their on line learning. Thanks for sharing your work with us Room 8 and we'll see in you in two weeks time!
