Totara 2/3 Hanmer Camp 2017

Last week, Totara 2 and 3 went on camp to Hanmer. We had the most amazing time mountain biking, tree climbing, orienteering, playing Mission Impossible and we can't forget the Lolly Shop and the hot pools!

Although it was freezing, we all had a fabulous time learning outside of the classroom. A big thank you to all of the parents who took time off work to come on camp with us. You were awesome and we couldn't have gone without you!

  2. Kia Ora Totara 2. It's Reagan here. It looks like you had lots of fun at camp. The tree climbing and going to the pool at night looks awesome. Next time you could add in some of your favourite activities. Did some of the people who have a fear of heights like tree climbing? From Reagan

  3. Hello Grey Main school.
My name is Rueben I am from a place called Pitt island which is a really remote place. It’s really nice place to live just like here. Pitt island has no shops not whatsoever (not even a Mcdonalds) we get our food off a boat and sometimes the boat is delayed.

I think that the hamner trip looked like fun especially climbing that tree. Most people would have been have afraid but not you. I hope you had fun biking anyone fall off their bike and if someone did I hope they are alright. How was swimming now that looked like fun especial.

I think that the colors are a bit dark so it makes it harder to see what you are doing. In some parts the colors are pretty cool in some parts. The music makes it really cool but if it was a bit quieter.
    Yours truly Rueben.
